Life can play some strange tricks at times
And it can be very cruel
And so this charity hes its own plan
It has as it's golden rule
That when he hear of a friend in trouble
we go to his aid straight away
Asking him in strict confidence
How can we help you today?
isn,t it right and isn't fair
That our own blessing we should all share
And then somebody if we need a friend
someone will come and help us to mend
our own lives with their sorrow or woe
